Session five

Events:

Juno 15-

As Zane helped repair and prepare the ship for sail and Shadoe quietly gathered her things, Algor asked Katrina, Caelen, and Vethra for help locating a missing man from the forge. They said he left following the directions of a strange compass that didn’t point north and never returned. Caelen found footprints and Kat was able to identify his trail. Eventually the three found themselves near a large open field where a massive serpent was coiled. They engaged the beast and according to Caelen, Katrina and Vethra did most of the heavy lifting. They were able to defeat the beast and found the remains of the dwarf but there was no sign of the compass. Katrina claimed one of the serpents fangs and stuffed it in her bag of holding before they returned to the forge with nothing but bad news and a trophy. The people of the forge thanked them by providing the team with plenty of crossbow bolts and arrows, and even crafted some armor for Vethra and throwing daggers for Caelen. The team then set sail for Carron on the very same ship that the survivors had used two years ago.

Jaeo 10-

The team has arrived back in Vandarri

The Vibes:

Zane-

He is as confident and happy as ever, and he seems very determined to get to a tavern so he can send his wife another letter. He will miss his friend Algor, but will always have something to remind himself of him now that Algor has helped improve the trophy on the mauls pommel.

Shadoe-

She has been quiet, more so than usual, but she seems to have taken a bit of comfort in this new hawk she has learned to conjure.

Caelen-

Still his usual self. The festivities and emotions of the great forge celebration didn’t seem to have much of an effect on him, but he now shows a drive and passion to find this Crimson Cane and he seems to like his new glasses.

Vethra-

She seems fulfilled and yet still eager to press on. Her time at the great forge seems to have had a positive impact on her. And she’s even become attuned to her tattoos.

Katrina-

It seems like hunting and defeating a great beast made her feel at home. She was proud to show off the fang she took from the mighty serpent. She also has taken a liking to some gloves the dwarves made for her.
